Obviously, I don't even know what is the meaning of my name.
I have been told that my great grandparent suggested this name to my parents.
In honour of my auntie's name.
Since primary school up to high school, people always thought that I am a BOY, not because of my appearence, but because of my NAME.
They was like "La, perempuan ke.. saya ingatkan lelaki" or like "saya ingatkan nama lelaki tadi"
When I was a kid, I was wondering aight, why my name was so weird. KHAZAMI.. NIK KHAZAMI...
Thats alright if I got 'nik' in front of my name.
But still, Why my name doesn't have 'Sharifah' or 'Siti' or 'Puteri' or 'Tengku' (over giler). Besides, I realized that I've got many of nick names since I was a kid.
1. Adik
2. Emi
3. Nik
4. Khazami
5. Barat
Well, I get used to it. I had always imagine that it would be pretty to have that fancy 'Tengku' or 'Puteri.
But, no matter what, i still believe that we should be proud with our own names. When I started googling my name, I am the one and only NIK KHAZAMI NIK AZIZ..
see ya,
nikkhazami nik aziz
nak google ehhh..ehee..:)
